Who is happy?

We, Japanese have school, clean water, enough food...

People in Africa might not able to afford those things.

Japanese tend to feel sorry for them.

Honestly, I was one of them.

Yet I happen to have some experinece that I realize a lot of Japanese people are the ones who are unhappy.

We are so used to be in the environment with lots of internets.  Young parents tend to work late.  People care about how they look than actually who they are.

From a lot of reasons, Japanese family relationship in general is not that strong as it was used to be.

People do not decide who are happy.

They decide themself whether they are happy or not.

I have visited a lot of orphanages in the world, but children there looks happier than some in Japan.

What I can do for children and other people is different based on where they are and how they feel.

"Do your best where you are planted."

But still some part of me still wonder what if kinds in orphanges especially in developing countries have same opportunity that Japanese kids have...

Does that make them unhappy because of lots of stress/less connections with people?

Does that make them happy because they would have lots of choices?
